Your privacy.

When you send an enquiry we receive what you type into the form: your name, your email address and your answers about the project. It is emailed to our team through our email provider, Resend, so we can reply. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Like most websites, this one also records how it is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, and the device and browser they use.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful, and the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and show our ads to people likely to be interested. Both set cookies in your browser.

When you send an enquiry we also tell Meta that an enquiry happened, using its Conversions API. That message includes your email address and name in hashed form, which Meta matches against Facebook and Instagram accounts, plus your IP address, browser details, your Meta cookie identifiers and the page you enquired from. Meta uses it to match the enquiry to an ad you may have seen. We never send Meta the contents of your enquiry.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on, and control the ads Meta shows you in your Meta ad preferences.

Your enquiry is read by the Known Digital team. Google, Meta and Resend process data on our behalf as described above, and some of them store it outside New Zealand. We do not sell your information.

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@knowndigital.co.nz and we will sort it out.
